Let Sleeping Babies Sleep!

Can you move your sleeping child?  Like move them from a car seat to a bed?  From your arms to a crib?  From wherever they fall asleep to bed? 

 Let's face it Addison's sleeping has always been interesting, whether it be not sleeping at night for months when she was an infant or her fight it some nights and other nights go to bed like a little angel that she pulls now days.  But one thing that I have NEVER been able to do since her days of falling asleep at the boob ended, was move her in her sleep without her waking up.  Seriously the girl wakes up for every movement.  

So much to my surprise the sun and heat and toddler play must really knock this girl out cause twice this week we made successful moves from carseat to couch and car seat to mom's bed to finish a nap that started on a trip home.  I'm seriously amazed here people.  I never had one of those babies that falls asleep playing on the living room floor, or jumping in her jumparoo.  Only a few sleeps in the highchair so this is new  mega sleep is all new territory for me!

What Happened To A Pool?

We had a pool last year for Addison.  Key word, HAD.  The mice got in the barn this winter and decided it was excellent bedding material I guess and they ate their way into it.

So we improvised on our recent hot days.  Re-purposed last years birthday drink holder bucket for this years Addison swim tub.  At least until mom remembers to pick up a new one at the store!

We have a new favorite place to visit!

We ventured back to Pudding Stone Farms & Nursery this past weekend, I can't get enough of the green house part and Addison can't get enough of the animals.  So everyone is happy when we go there.  (Except maybe my husband when I spend more money on plants.)  This week they had new pot bellied pigs that were just lying around in the green houses, Addison was in love!

I got the last of my veggie plants and finally got them all put in the ground last night.  41 tomato plants, 3 hills of cucumbers, 3 hills of Zucchini, 3 hills of pumpkins, a whole row of potatoes, a row of peas, green beans, radishes, and kohlrabi.  I might toss in a hill of butternut squash as I just realize I forgot to plant any!
