Thankful Day 16

Today I am thankful for opportunity & the ability to take advantage of the opportunities I have had in life.   For the people I know willing to hire me to take family pictures for them so that I can get started in this photography business.    I am thankful that they are giving me the chance to photograph them and their families so that I can learn more as I go.  I help them by offering a nice price, they help me by being my first subjects!  I have 2 shoots scheduled for this weekend.  Ready or not, here we go, WEE!

Manual

So we've had the DSLR for a year now,for 6ish months I was guilty of using auto the whole time.  Our friend Seth  gave me the quick rundown on settings and how to use it back in January, since then I've been using mostly the TV (shutter speed priority) or AV (aperture priority) setting.  Not brave enough to make the full Manual switch, nor did I quite have it all down yet enough to get it.  Today I put on my big girl panties and switched that sucker over to M.  Happy with my results for day one!
