Thankful November Day 4

Today I am thankful for:

Weekends

Although I do actually have to work this Sunday (suck) but it's only a 5 hour shift, and overtime so I guess it's worth it.  But normally I embrace the two days of lazy, do as I wish carefreeness.  There is just something about knowing the weekend is finally here after five long straight days of work.  Oh how I love not having to wake up before 5am on my days off!  (Double suck about working Sunday.)

Thank You, Thank You

Thankful Day #3:

Today I am thankful for warmth.  In the form of a thick blanket and my furnace.  It's cold and only going to be getting colder.  I don't look forward to the ice, snow, and wintry months that await us.  I am already longing for days of summer sunshine & sweltering heat!  I love Michigan but our winters can be so long and brutal.  I'm thankful that we have things like fuel for our furnace, a home to live in and a good down filled comforter, some people are not so blessed.
