Saturday the weather was gorgeous and Addison and I had a Zoo date with an old co-worker of mine Christie & her husband and son Dominic. We were up early so we took a quick run into Jackson to get some Fresh Picked Michigan Strawberries (YUM) before we headed to Battle Creek to meet Christie & her family at the Zoo for the day.
The Zoo was great, Binder Park is amazing in that most of it is nicely shaded. Addison slept the whole way there so she was nice and awake for the whole day, we decided that we would check out the giraffe's first since both of the little ones were well rested and wouldn't be too tired to enjoy them properly. Who can't love a zoo where you can feed the giraffe's!?!
They're pretty awesome! Both of the kid's especially Dominic loved them, he even cried when we had to walk away.
he really wanted to ride in the truck.
All in all it was a great day at the zoo, minimal baby break downs, great weather and great zoo. A+, next on the zoo list, Toledo Zoo!!

Loving the kangaroo carousel
Dominic was happy to ride the UofM horse that I said Addison wasn't allowed to sit on! :)
